Dear Friends,

Due to increased concerns regarding the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to give an update. The University of Arizona Alfie Norville Gem & Mineral Museum renovation is continuing as planned. The safety of our museum team and our community is of paramount importance to us, and our team will be primarily working from home at this time. This decision is in line with steps the University of Arizona has taken to further minimize the spread of COVID-19. Museum staff is using the best practices for social distancing as outlined by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Arizona Department of Public Health.

Like many, we are continually monitoring the situation and rapidly updating information. We are taking every possible measure to safely navigate this difficult situation while continuing to strive for our targeted opening date. Please continue to check our website, subscribe to our newsletter and check out our social media (FacebookTwitter and Instagram) for announcements and updates.
